Velkommen til Danmark!

Hej! Hello! This past week, we traveled from Florida to the small country of Denmark. We have been learning new words in Danish, such as “tak” which means “thank you”.  We have also been learning all about the different animals in this country, including the swan, which is the national animal of Denmark.

We created our own Danish flags, read stories about the country, learned how people dressed, and even ate a traditional dessert served at birthday parties. We learned that we can take cream and shake it in a container to create the whipped cream that goes on top of the cake to eat!

We loved being able to explore this beautiful country, full of flowers and nature. However, it is now time to pack our bags and fly to this  week’s destination: Honduras! As we say in Denmark: vi ses! See you later!

¡Bienvenida a Honduras!
