4 -5 Year Old and VPK Teacher – Monica Ramsak

Previous to teaching, Monica held a position in management at a major financial institution where she traveled extensively for twenty-five years. She says her life and priorities changed significantly when she decided to pursue a foreign adoption as a single parent. Parenting continues to be the most challenging and satisfying “job” Monica has ever held. She has a beautiful fourteen years old daughter who she says gets the credit for turning her mother towards God and a new career. Monica’s interests include gardening, the outdoors, and their home. She and her daughter are avid bird watchers. They have pets, are interested in insects, and anything that lives outdoors! Monica became a certified teacher when she received her Florida C.D.A. along with the Voluntary Prekindergarten Program (V.P.K.). For the past 10 years she has truly enjoyed sharing with her students her experiences and turning them into teaching moments.
